When he looks at you, a small smirk colors his face, a softer one than normal.  “I think I got an idea,” he murmurs.

“Huh?”

“Yeah.  A fucking dope as shit idea.  An idea that will make you drop to your knees in the sheer fucking magnificence of it.  But it won’t be just you, bro.  Every fucking Prospitian and even the goddamn Dersites on the other side of the fucking Incipisphere will fall before my idea.  They’ll be like ‘Oh, how could one glorious motherfucker come up with such a majestic idea?’  ‘I don’t fucking know, I-’”

Jesus fucking Christ does he love listening to himself talk!  “So what is this ‘magnificent idea’?”

He sputters at you interrupting him mid-rant.  Fuck, you love when he does that!  It never ceases to make you laugh!  “You’ll find out later,” he finally answers.

Aw man, that’s such a bummer!  “Seriously?!”

Dave chuckles as he lifts a hand to ruffle your hair.  He’s been doing a lot of that lately.  It makes your chest swell with more feelings.  “Yeah.  Seriously.  You’ll find out when you find out.”
