He chuckles before he relaxes, for the first time in days.  “She set us up, Egbert.”  Holy shit, you still don’t know if you’ll ever get used to him saying your last name.  He started using it the moment you told him.

However, you’re still too busy short-circuiting.  “…To go to the marketplace?”

His chuckle turns into an actual laugh, and you swear you can fly just listening to the sound.  “No, babe.  I’m talking about an actual date.”

Holy shit, he’s right!  It is like a date!  Have you ever been on one with him?

A grin makes its way unbidden to your lips, threatening to split your face.  “Awesome!”
