Opening your eyes in the waking world, you realize damn.  Somehow you still feel tired; like the sleep did nothing.

It was probably from the crazy day you had yesterday.  Or, more like crazy couple of days, if you count the amount of time it took you and Jade to get through all eight gates.

Ughh, your exhaustion is comparable to the first time.  It’s like you can feel it deep in your very bones.

Should you call in another sick day?  Chris and Kate are pretty cool people.  Surely they would understand if you were not feeling well for unknown reasons.  Sounds like being sick to you.

But something is nagging at you from the deepest corners of your mind, telling you that would be a bad idea.  You’re already getting low on sick days this year and you’d hate to be caught in a tight situation!
