You sigh again.  “Well, now that everyone knows, I was hoping we’d figure out how we should move forward.  I mean, we’ve got the war to worry about.  We’ve got this to worry about.  What should we do?”

Rose purses her lips.  “By any chance, did The White Queen disclose what they have tried in the past?  Or what ideas they have previously discussed?”

You shake your head.  “Unfortunately, no.  All she’d say was how they thought of everything, even when I tried to convince her to bring us to the table.”

“Actually…” Jade starts.  “That makes me wonder how Derse feels about all of this.  The White Queen made it quite evident that she’s not a fan, but has to do it for her people.  How about The Black Queen?”
